Eagleson Park is a large fill-in community typical of those found on the Boise Bench. The variety of homes found in this community is as diverse as decades in which they were built. Eagleson Park contains homes that were built as early as the late 1930s, as well as many homes constructed in the 1940s and 1950s. Considerable fill-in construction has occurred in every decade since then, including the 2000s. As one might expect, the home styles vary widely, from small bungalow homes smaller than 1000 square feet to 1960s homes with basements, to 1970s style ranch homes, to more modern style homes built in the 1990s and 200s.
The Bench has become increasingly popular as the prices of homes in the North End have skyrocketed. The Eagelson Park is no exception, with its convenient location along Overland Road, and its quiet mature streets, more and more people are buying homes here. There has been a considerable renewal effort, and the area is popular among home renovation companies looking to buy distresses properties, and then rehabilitate them for re-sale.
